I’m Kim, founder of Pathways2Destination in Indianapolis.

I co-founded a street ministry here in 2005, served for five years, then stepped away for sixteen years to raise my grandchildren. I came back to the ministry in 2026, and I’ve spent my time listening to people first — hearing their actual story before deciding how to help.

That’s how Pathways2Destination started: by meeting people where they are, and helping them get to the place that would change everything for them.

So I started Pathways2Destination.

It started with Dewayne — a man stranded 16 days in a city he didn’t know, and one bus ticket home. Read his full story.

Pathways2Destination buys transportation directly — bus tickets, transit passes, rides to critical appointments, repairs through trusted partner mechanics — for people in crisis, people facing homelessness, and people working to get back on their feet. We never hand out cash. The transportation is the tool: removing the barrier is the mission. And we do this work trusting God to fill the gap.

We’re based in Indianapolis, Indiana, and we’re just getting started.

FRIENDS OF THE MISSION

Butterfly Blessings – started by my friend Kalinda in memory of her brother Isaac, who knew what it was like to be homeless and struggling. She puts together blessing bags with journals, snacks, headphones, and other small comforts for people who need them most.
